I am on my second bout of surgery and Stage III for Peritoneal cancer. I was operated on both times for more debulking...They found thousands of tumors this last time but were able to scrape my guts and wash them off and now there is more chemo. Find a doctor who will see you and at least be willing to do whatever they can! I was fortunate that this last time my doctor listened to me even though there was no real symptoms, just a "gut feeling" of mine...
I will pray that you can get help for your aunt in time for her to have still have some hope. Know that you and your family are NOT alone. For all of us who are in the same boat...don't stop rowing!!!!!
Best wishes...and prayers going out!!!

Hi my name is Tammy I am 40yrs od and have been dealing with stage 3c ovarian cancer for almost 3 yrs now.  I have been thru 21 months of chemo and of course it keeps coming back, but I am still fighting.  I go to the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Clinic located in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  It is a long way from me also, about a 3 hour drive.  But they have a great gyn. cancer center there.  I have a great gyn cancer surgeron there, her name is Dr. Rebecca Liu , she saved my life almost 3yrs ago when there was not much hope for me, and continues to treat me.  Best of luck to you and your aunt, my prayers are with her.
