Checking In After Treatment #3

Hi:

Treatment #3 is behind me and I am at home resting. Surprisingly, I am not feeling as fatigued, at least not yet, as after the first 2. I am having some pain in my abdominal area along the belt line and around the naval. It is not constant, but it started after I had a respiratory infection and was coughing alot. It is a burning pain and a stabbing pain at times. It hurts when I sit for periods of time, cough or bend. Took some Motrin which helps a little, but not a lot. Will call the doc on Monday if it doesn't improve. I wouldn't be feeling too bad if not for this, but I guess there is always something.

The worst part of this for me remains the emotional. I am all alone, cooped up in the house by myself and left to me own thoughts. Wish I had someone to talk to about all of this, but I don't.

Thanks for listening~

Wish I had some sage advice for you.  You did have some serious surgery which more than like resulted in some scar tissue and/or adhesions.  The coughing, etc. could have aggrevated these.

Hope today is a better day.  God Bless You.

Doesn't it feel good when another treatment is behind you???  Three less to face is a good thing.  I had the naval belt-line pain too.  Mine was not as severe.  More of a tenderness to any pressure.  I still can't stand tight clothing in that area.  I hope the rest of your treatments go well.  I think if you provide more info in your profile you will get more responses to your post.  It helps to know the general area a person is from, a description of the cancer journey up to this point and anything else you'd like to share.  I have made friends here that are as dear to me as friends I have known in person most of my life.  I wish the same for you.  It makes dealing with this monster alot less scary.
