My mom Lorraine

Hello to everyone....I have been sort of the silent partner on this site and haven't posted much and wanted to let you all know that I have been checking up on how things have been going with all of you everyday.  Just login in provided me with much support.  I was specifically touched by both Lesley and Yvonne and my heart goes out to all who are battling this awful cancer.  My mom Lorraine passed away this Monday, November 3.  My sister and I tried our best to care for her at home as long as we could but 1 week before she passed away we had to bring her to the hospital.  She passed away peacefully in her sleep at 1:45am.  She was a wonderful sister, friend, wife to my daddy who passed away from cancer just prior to her diagnose but most of all a wonderful mother who hoped till the very end.

I and so many others will miss her positive attitude, her smile and her generosity.  She is now one of our angels and I know that she will be watching over her children and all of you.

   I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. I wish that you would have not been so silent because we would have been there for you. I am glad she went peacefully and that she is now happy and pain free.
   I do not know if you know about our rememberence page or not but it was started so that we could keep the memories with us of all of the sisters we have lost. I hope that I do not offend you, but I added your moms name to the list of angels there.
  The very first post at the top of the page, explains the rememberence page and I think how to get there. If you need help let us know. You may also change it in any way that you want.

Thoughts are with you during this diofficult time, your mum would have known that you had tried your best to look after her till her peaceful end, but hospitals, however sterile they are, do assist in the comfort and care during the hard final days. Your mum is in peace, pain free flying with the angels above and making new friends. Rember the good time rather than lingering on the bad, as your mum would never like to think she cause you pain, Steve H

Please accept my sympathy for your loss.  I am so glad she went peacefully.  I know you and your sister did your best to care for her at home, but sometimes it simply isn't possible.  Please know you and your family are in my prayers.  May you find peace and comfort.  When you're ready, if you'd like to post a memorial on the Memorials Page, please let us know if we can help you do that.  God bless you, too.
