My mom's update

Hello wonderful people!

My mom, dad and myself met with the oncologist yesterday for her post op meeting.... the results were:

- they got 90% of the cancer during surgery
- very pleased with progress
-have to take chemo once every three weeks (starts today)
- no cancer in the lymph nodes or liver
-cancer was in teh fluid on her lungs... but not in her lung.
-very optimistic and used the words "looking to cure her..."

The CA125 test showed 1390 the day before surgery and today... its 200!
She's starting chemo as we speak.

thank you for your support and prayers...
Meg

Meg - keep us posted....chemo isn't going to be easy, but, as most of the women say, it is doable.

The report from the doctor sounds great.

Keeping everything crossed....wishing you and your family all the best.

Keep us posted on her progress and when she is up to it, ask her to join us.
