Natropathic medicine and Granulosa Cell Tumor

I was diagnosed with a Stage 1 Adult Granulosa CelI 4 years ago. A few months a reoccurrence. As a result  I was just looking for some insight with regards to alternative medical approaches. Have you ever heard of any success stories with this particular cancer. After my first reoccurrence, I have recently seen a Naturopathic doctor. He recommended Vitamin C IV ( to build immune system ), Misled toe injections, Probiomax, Oncoplex ES (broccoli extract) ,Curcumin, Vitamin D, and Melatonin supplements, 1/3 cup daily flax seeds, and a diet full of antioxidant high foods, tomato's, garlic, broccoli, cauliflower cabbage.

Does any documentation of anyone using this type of therapy to help fight a reoccurrence? Do you know if this type of therapy can be potentially dangerous. I am under the supervision of an oncologist but she does not have a whole lot of experience with this type of cancer. I am currently receiving no other treatment, other then surgery to remove the tumors. Any advise would be helpful.

From my limited research  and I am no Doctor some Cancers love Vitamin C it makes them grow like mad. I personally steer clear of vitamin C myself. I have a friend who keeps pushing me towards I.V. Vitamin C and decline.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
I understand your concern regarding alternative medical approach. At present, there are not enough documentation for such management and condition. While additional studies are needed to determine how effective such modalities, integrative medicine- combining both western and eastern medicine have been practiced for some time. The National Institutes of health's NCCAM have been conducting researches for alternative management. It also provides information about complementary health products and practices. Take care always.
