I've had 3 surgeries done laparoscopically and all three were different. Two were related to endo and for those I was down for about a week, but feeling pretty good after 2 or 3 days. The third was when my gallbladder was removed and I had to be off work for a month that time, but again, felt good in just a few days. What helped me the most was to walk. They'll fill your abdomen with gas so that it expands and allows for a better view of the organs and abdominal cavity. Your body will absorb the gas, but in the meantime it can be a bit painful. Walking did wonders for that, it kept things moving and helped me relax so I could rest when needed. With the removal of the ovary and tube I'd say that your recovery time will be about what mine was with my cholecystectomy. Good Luck!
I am not certain what Novasure surgery is. I believe that the recovery time for laproscopic surgery should be at least 2 weeks....no matter how they do they surgery, you still time to heal internally!!!!
Best of luck to you.
