Family Member/ Cousin Recently Diagnosed

My cousin was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer.  Lauren is 28 years old.  I am here to seek out information to help her in anyway I can.
We will find out what stage she is on Tuesday 10/28/2008.  The family is currently creating fundraisers to help out with some of the expenses.  I anyone has any ideas please let us know..

I hope all goes well.  I had a long and difficult staging surgery, but felt surprisingly well when I woke up.  I was staged at 3b, but my onc stages me at 3c. Either way I am here and am okay 16 months later and I will help in any way I can.  Take care, Marie

Tuesday is the big day.  I will be returning with more information as it becomes available,  Just looking for ways to help anyway I can.  Thank You for taking the time to respond,  We are all hoping and praying for the best.

I am assuming she has had the surgery.  We need a little more info to be of much help.  I understand the need for fundraising, as this disease can be a huge financial burden even with the best insurance. I wish her the best.  Marie
