Now I am Confused-----Help

by Bella95, Mar 21, 2008 12:53PM
Okay Ladies,

I went for a second opinion today and another ultrasound.  This ultrasound shows that the mass, which was 10cm is now 2 small masses, but not equal to 10 cm, and is still on the left ovary.  I told the Dr. about my left side pain, left leg pain with nerve shooting symptoms, and abdominal pressurep to my chest on the left side.  She said that none of the symptoms are associated with the ovary.

She told me that I could have the laparoscopy on the 4th of April to remove the left ovary, but it was by choice, since the mass is now 2 smaller ones.  I am still going through with the surgery on the 4th, but this Dr. has confused me.  She scheduled me for an abdominal-pelvic CT scan because she feels that the pain is not related to the ovary.

Hi ,
The abdominal pelvic scan is a good idea as it will show up in more detail any problems , as for cysts not causing the pain and abdominal pressure I would have to say that I had abdominal pressure and pain with my cysts amongst other symptoms and some of these doctors are so arrogant and cocky telling us what we do and dont feel it makes me mad!! Its good that you are getting them removed .

Good luck and Best wishes Angiexx

The dr. is probably seeing if there might be anything else going on that might cause the pain, since she didn;t feel it was the cyst. That is good that they are being through. Hope your pain is resolved after surgery and a speedy recovery.  Donna
