Ovarian Cancer/Liver Hemangioma/Surgery

I finally heard from my oncologist today!  WOO HOO!  I will be having the hysterectomy either July 24th or July 28th.  I will have a "Tag Red Blood Scan" this upcoming Friday to check a "Liver Hemangioma."  Is anybody familiar with this?

I have a liver hemangioma.  It was explained to me as a blood vessel/vein on the outside of the liver.  The tech said that it is often confused w/spots on the liver possibly indicating cancer of the liver.  I have mine checked every couple of years to see if there are any changes.  I was told by more than a few Dr's that it is nothing to be concerned with.

Good luck w/your surgey and rest well!
