     Ashley,  I got tied up with work until just now, I am so sorry and wonder if you would consider Saturday for Cyber Party to celebrate your last chemo today?  It is late but if you are around tonight, we can warm up and meet again Saturday for Cyber Party.  I had a Tech in over her head with a really convuluted network issue, just got off the phone.  It is your call and I understand if you are upset with me, weeknights are hard, could not get near this PC while I was stuck on the work machine.  Hope to hear from you Ashley!  MV

    So where is the one place you have always dreamed of going?  I've wanted to go to Tahiti since I was a little kid, not even sure why.  I suppose living in the midwest, far from any ocean, it has always struck me as a really exotic destination.  I went to Hawaii twice with my Guard unit but even though that is a Pacific Island, I still dream about Tahiti.  It is one of my favorite things to google in my spare time.  So where have you always wanted to go? MV

I just got in, it is almost 1030pm here on the east coast.  Could we have had the date wrong?

This is my first cyber party.

There are 2 destinations that I would like to go and they both started way back when, when Americans were not allowed to travel to these places, Cuba and Viet Nam.  Now we can go and I no longer work in the travel business sooooo who can afford to go!!!!

If you ask me tonight where I would like to go , I would tell you far   far  away.  This is one of those, I feel sorry for me, nights, I am okay, but heavy with feelings for my kids. Son called from AZ asking about black stools, sent him to drug store to get stool blood kit, it came back positve, think he has an ulcer, Leslee's Ca125 is up , but let me tell you girls, she is so strong and is dealing with this better than me. If I really could chose a place though it would be Ireland, Had a grandmother come from there as a bonded maid to a rich family. She was a beautiful, red haired girl. One of my treasured protraits of family. Would like to meet a Leprechaun, and kiss the Blarney Stone. Sure hope Ashley can meet with us Sat night, it will be a treat to meet her. I have a BIG bottle of  a new wine to share, from Austria, full bodied and delecious. let me pour you a glass.

I will take a glass Star!  I would love to go to Ireland too!  My brother is a local radio Meteorologist,we call him the Fam Celeb.  He goes to Dublin every year to run the marathon!  He went the first time with the Radio Station tour and ran the marathon and has been invited back every year since!  (He says don't kiss the stone though, the local kids think it's funny to pee on it when the tourists are not around)  
    We would love to meet Leslee!  Any woman you raised must be remarkable! MV

C8  . hey!,im with you there becky.just smack em lol. my grandfather says the dumbiest things sometimes. like o my you have a five o'clock shadow.and its just like leave me alone. my moms procedure went fine she says she is a little sore.which is to be expected. and she is very loopy from pain meds.which makes me laugh.but i dont know things seem to be going ok.tomorrow i get released to go back home for two weeks. then back to the hospital agian,but that trip should be different because it will be my last treatment.so im excited! ill keep you all posted.best wishes for all!

C9  Ashley What day of the week is March 8th???

Remind me a couple of days before, and I'll be at the cyber-party....I know that there are a bunch of us that would be more then happy to attend a party you are throwing.

Have fun the next couple of weeks....don't think about us, don't think about treatment.!!!

Lets see!!! anywhere but here for starters.  Umm anywhere without my daughter for once!!!  Okay now that i have let that out.  I have always dreamed of going to Hawaii and even Texas for some reason.  Weird but yes texas. i like the cowboys.  I also would like to go to arizona.  I love the heat.  Anywhere really.  If i go its all paid so that I dont have to worry about money :)

MV - funny about the local neighborhood kids and the Blarney Stone...guess I'll cross that off of my "things to do before I turn 100 list"!!!!

I think that we have things that we do to tourists.  Friends that I made lived in Philadelphia and had never been to NYC...so they came to visit.  We did all the tourist things including going to the top of World Trade Center....well I told them that not only do you have to go to the top and look down, you have to also from the bottom look up to the top....well there you have it, 2 grown men lying on the dirty streets of Manhattan looking up at the WTC.

Hi everyone, I hope I am not to late to join you.  I was wondering if we were going to party tonight.  One place that I have always wanted to go is Hawaii.  I would love to see the clear blue water.  My mom, grandma, and all of my aunts went together one time.  They had the time of thier lives.  I would love to see a luahi (I know that is not how you spell it.  SOrry).  Do any of you remember the Brady Bunch episoed where they went to Hawaii?  I love that one.

about the most exciting thing for tourists here in Iowa is the Field of Dreams, about 30 miles from me, but no Iowa native yearns to go look at another corn field.

Not a whole lot of things to tour here in the State of Indiana eithr.  Like Iowa, we have a lot of cornfields, and cows.  I guess you could go take a tour of Notre Dame.  We also have the Indy 500 track.  I think that it would be great to go back to San Diego and show my son where we lived when he was born and where the hospital is.  Did anyone get a chance to check out my post on the BBBC?  If not, I have to have surgery on Wednesday for my hernia.

Hey Angie, we all dreamed of getaways without our kids when they were young, don't stop dreaming!  I have lived in Texas and that is such a huge and varied state I think it merits a getaway dream or two!  Kasie, my spiled brat Brother is in Hawaii as we speak, a cyber slap to him!  And, of course, it does not cost him a cent as it is another radio station tour!  I loved Hawaii but not sure I could live on an island even though my dream destination is also an island.  Arizona is another state of variation.  I think my favorite area is in Sedona.  The landscape almost looks like another planet but it is georgeous!  The Grand Canyon is a must see, put it on your before 100 list if you have not seen it!

The Brady Bunch.....wow, Kasie you brought back some memories.  The one actually it was a 2 parter in Hawaii was great, they found the "good luck charm".

I was lucky enough to have gone to Hawaii...it was never on my top 10, but, it was amazing.  I loved it.  We went to Honolulu, Maui, The Big Island and Kawai....it was a dream vacation.  Actually got stopped by the cops driving in Maui, no seatbelt....plus we were on a cruise, I left everything on the ship, all I had was the cruise ID.  I was lucky, they let me go, all we had to do was switch drivers to someone that had their license on them.

I love Sedona also, did you visit the Chapel of the Rocks, son's time share is there, I love to go there at Christmas for their Lights, just beautiful. Good Night all , another day tomorrow, hope it is a good one for all.

Kasie, I saw your post, having trouble with the computer and going back and forth....it really s..ks...another surgery of any sort.  I'm hoping that you are in and out the same day and there are no infections.

I would love to see the Grand Canyon.  I travelled a lot but spent little time in the States...there is alot I would love to see...including the cornfields!
