Ovarian cyst could it be cancerous

Hi i am 19 10 weeks ago i was told i had a large ovarian cyst on my right ovary 6cm by 6cm. I have been looking on websites about it and found that i have some symptoms of ovarian cancer.
I wondered if it was possible that it could be cancerous. does anyone know what all the symptoms of ovarian cysts benign or malignant are.

If your not sure I would talk with your doctor about this.  I myself have a 4cm cysts on my left ovary and what I understand from my doctor is that if its a functional fluid filled cyst and not a solid cysts you are in no need for much concern.  again I would still talk with your Doctor.

best of luck,
Hina

Hi Jemma, just came across your post and thought i would let you know my experiance. My wife has Polycystic Ovary Syndrome which as the name implies is where cysts grow on the ovaries. She has it quite severe and some symptoms that she experiances are weight gain, some facial hair spots and boil like things around the body now and again. They have never offered her treatment for this however the most important thing is that they are benign. i know that malignacy is something that must be uppermost in your mind but try not to focus on that as there is a good chance at your age that it is not. Just thought i would share that with you.
