Maybe they're running late. Perhaps they're meeting at the same spot as yesterday. It's only 5 pm here. Oh yeah, it's 5:00 somewhere (just like the song says).
I have to QUICK go have a hamburger, before I start partying too much. Don't want to get too drunk on those margarittas. Back in a halh hour. Party on, Irene and All.
I am inviting you all to hop on board my Party Jet for a quick trip to my time share on the beautiful Island of Maui. There is a box of Lies by the door and plenty of 'one size fits all' sarongs and grass skirts for the more daring. I have a hugh beach side bonfire going with Native dancers to perform for us. There are plenty of Mai Tai's and kabobs for toasting, The roast pig is just about done, time for hula lessons and singing some songs first. We will pretend it is sunset time in Hawaii, do some beach combing for beautiful shells, have some fresh pineapple and coconut milk. I love the beauty of the Islands and want to share them with my friends.
Kick off those shoes and dig your toes in this soft white sand, walk in the water along the side of the ocean and watch the surfers coming in. The ukalaies are strumming for us to do a sing along.
AHHHHH! Thank-you, I have never been to Hawaii, before. I've always been afraid of the long flight. Thanks for the MAGIC jet that got me there in the wink of an eye!!!! OOOOOhhh the sunset is goegeous, as are the native dancers (tee hee). It sounds like you have evrything handles, Simply Star. What time did you fire up the pig? In other words....when can we eat?
Hey ladies I have a tray of blue lagoon and tequilla sunset cocktails here , help yourself and how about a slice of this pizza I just baked !!
mmm kicking my shoes off and relaxing Grrrreat !!
oh I think I missed the party , I hope I dont have to drink this entire tray of cocktails on my own !!
that tender roast pig is ready to eat, grab a palm leaf plate and load up, the guys are just lighting up the torchs for the Torch dance, it is so exciting to watch them fly up and between the catchers, any of you that need a comfort station, go right up that path off the beach to my cottage
I've got desert covered...Key Lime Pie....MMM, MMM!!!!
good star Im staggering to your cottage after all those cocktails lol
Just off that other path will take you through a lovely trail of exotic Hawaii native flowers , pick an orchid for your sarong and tuck a gorgous lily in your hair , you all look so lovely
nothing like a cooler of coconut milk spiked with rum drink , no sharks tonight so if you want to bask in the water, go ahead. Nice and warm and the waves are just right for floating like a dream .
I LOVE Hawaii .. never been, but what the heck is a margarita machine...? Now I know I must be getting old...
Awww, I've never been to Hawaii before. My father-in-law won a trip to Hawaii several years ago but Mom-in-law wouldn't go. My hubby and his Dad went instead. The two guys had a great time with all that sun, sand and good food. Me - I got to see the pictures. That's OK. Some day. . . . Grab your coconuts and let's dance. :-)
These natives are some of the friendliest people in the world. they live the simple life and enjoy the Eden they have been given . Pure nature
I bought this time share many years ago, best investment I ever made. Have let my kids use it , so we all have been here to enjoy and yes the pictures to take home are so lovely.
Listen, is that Do Ho or Elvis singing the Wedding Song?
I remember while in High School in Miami.. we'd get a watermelon and cut a plug out of it and fill with vodka or gin (ooops ... I meant college) Put the plug back in, chill it and turn it every hour or so.. then cut it.... soo refreshing.... Crandon Park .. those were the days..
The beaches back then in Fl. -- 50's were like that.. quiet and serene ...
In St Looie during my physch affiliation, I kept Mad Dog { Grape wine} in my window to get cool, till the head nurses saw them from the street and made us take em out. Oh those days, weren't they fun?
Sad thing is we could never do that stuff anymore.. Things are so different now.. But we had some wild times back then... I sorta feel sorry for the kids nowadays.. they just don't have the kind of freedom we had.
Had a friend in Med.School then...he used to try to make wine by sticking it on the roof... and in Miami it sure fermented in a hurry...
Okay, Sandy...Was it high school or college? Let's be honest. Pass the cocktails, please. Since this is cyber Hawaii...Can I pick a flower....PLEEEEASE
Oh, Sandy....A margaritta machine is exactly that...A machine that you just pour the ice, mixer, and tequila (of course) in and it mixes it up for you. Remember, the olden days when we had to mix 'em ourselves?
Well, truth be told in was High School...
Good grief.. you mean to tell me you can't just mix a drink anymore.. !!?? That's so funny.. Wouldn't a blender work?? Keep thinking about our parents (God rest their souls) would just fall over with all these new fangled things... think I'll just have a plain ole pina colada thank you.... (the watermelon's isn't ready yet anyway)
