24 is still within the normal range BUT ANY change in your numbers should be investigate. Get with an GYN oncologist if you are not already and get their opinion on what tests could be done. Many times inflamation in the abdomen, as with diverticulitis or endocarditis etc, can elevate your #'s but I have not seen a sinus infection elevate #s.

Repeat in 4 wks.  If up again do one more and if that shows 3 increases in a row it is cause for concern.  That is what my onc and gyn/onc recommend.  For me it makes no difference as my cancer doesn't cause a rise in the CA125.  CEA is of some value to me.  An infection of any kind can cause CA125 to rise.  I had a slight increase in CEA and my PA said even stress can cause a minimal increase in tumor markers.  I wish you the best and I hope the repeat will show a 3 or 4.  Marie
