Interperitoneal (I think) chemo after effects

Does anyone know how long the soreness and discomfort last after interperitoneal (I hope I'm spelling that correctly) chemo for Stage 3 ovarian cancer? Not sure which array of drugs I had, but I think the chemo drug was Taxol.

I had the soreness for about 3 days after I/P chemo.  The first cylce the I/P treatments hurt the worst. I guess my body had to adjust to having those chemicals pumped in there.  After the first cycle of 3 treatments the inner belly soreness was not as bad, but he overall icky feeling and body pain got a little worse after each cycle.  What felt great was after a cycle was complete I was that much closer to being done.  I wsh you good results and few side effects.  Marie

I would feel bloated and crampy and just plain yucky for a few days after and then able to work a little the weeks in between .. not full time.  I had cisplatin and taxol IP but not on the same day.  I also had IV taxol .. drugs given on 3 different days .. 2 in one week and one the next.  Hope this helps.   God Bless You,  Judy
