I agree... Baby wipes are a godsend!
I second the vaseline treatment. I put it on halfway through the cleanse and my little fanny was on fire! Neither one of those "flavors" taste like what they say they are, so close your eyes and pick one. Did anyone ever take Gas X with their cleansing? My friend just had bowel surgery for diverticulitis and she was told to take Gas x after she finished the lovely "poopy cocktail." She said it really helped. She had done the cleanse for her hysterectomy and could see the difference with the last one. I just wondered! Good luck!

A word of advice about the bowel prep. Put some vaseline or something similare around your rectum before you start the prep. This will prevent burning and irritation in that area. A nurse I worked with gave me this advice before I had a colonscopy and it worked great. Good luck.
If you still have one ovary, it will pick up the slack for you. As far as magnesium citrate...well...it's the lesser of two "evils". I've never tried the cherry, so I'd have to vote for the lemon lime. My thoughts and prayers will be with you next week...looking forward to hearing good news from you on the RS!
peace,
Anne
Definitely the lemon lime, although I agree that even this choice doesn't taste like Sprite, 7-Up, or even Kool-Aid!
And, in addition to the vaseline on the rectum, also use baby wipes to pad -- only PAD -- yourself clean (don't wipe because you'll be raw very quickly).
Good luck and let us know how things go. As you know, everyone here will be thinking of you, and pulling and praying for you.
Hi diana, I just had one ovary and tube removed in March. So far I haven't noticed much difference from having one or two. I am 50 years old and in peri-menopause. How old are you, if you don't mind me asking?
