I'm Back!!

Hi Ladies.  I'm back with the land of the living!!  I had surgery last Monday.  Man, I was out of it for about a week!!  So the surgery went well.  The tumor was about 8-9 times the size of my uterus (I don't know how big my uterus is, if anyone knows an average size...I'd love to know).  Anyway, partially solid and partially mucous.  They also removed my left ovary and tube.  No problems.  They did a frozen section while I was in surgery, it came back benign.  THANK THE LORD!!  Pain wasn't to bad....didn't know what to expect, so I think if i'm up a week later, I'm doing pretty good.  Thank you for all of your prayers!!!!!  :)  -Erin

I've been wondering how you are. I admit I even checked your profile to see if you were posting some place else and I just missed it. Glad to hear you're on the mend. What a surprise though about your innards. I bet you feel 10 lbs lighter now. Remember to rest up.

Hi , glad all went well for you , I hope you have a speedy recovery . The average normal size of the uterus is the size of a pear .
