Just had Laproscopy....

Well, I'm home and actually feeling pretty good. The doctor said she found another cyst on my right ovary (she removed it), she also said my ovary attached to my uterus and right above where the ureter is - which she said was causing pain.  She said she removed something L adhesions and drainage???  3 incisions all on my right side.  I am praying this is over and done now.  She did say she wants to see me in a week, which i thought was odd since the last time I had this done he waited like 4 weeks for follow up??

I don't know how they determine this but I'm not happy with them keeping my right ovary again.  THis is the 3rd cyst with that ovary.  The first one ruptured, second one was like 10cm and then this past one came out of nowhere and they found it during the laproscopy.  I'm planning on questioning my doctor this week when I go for my follow up.

What determines if you get to keep your ovary or not?  I have two teratomas, one on each ovary.  I go to see my dr. tomorrow a.m.  One teratoma is 10 cm, the other is 3 cm.  I'd like to have it removed laporoscopically too..  Anyone know what determines that?  I'm 38, and don't want more kids.  Wondering if that makes me an automatic candidate for open surgery.  I hope not.

I too had a follow-up at one week.  Then another follow-up some weeks after that one.
