As someone said, all Drs are different. I had 8 rounds of chemo first, then debulking surgery.  6 weeks after surgery I was put on maintenance chemo.

M ine ended up being 10 weeks.  I had to heal my sternum to pubic bone incision that got  infecions at various spots along it.  I had blanket chemo during surgery so they weren't in a rush,I guess. I just completed my 3rd treatment today and am looking to get good results on CT scan and CA 125  tests next Thursday.  The doc originally told me it would be 6 weeks till chemo started but he wanted my incision to fully heal.
