just got kinda worried because noone else mention bleeding.
I kinda think Imine comes from the previous depo shot and the irregular cycle after I got off. good luck to all and me to I will keep us informed
Originally my gynocologist thought I had fibroids...that is what he felt during my exam. When an ultrasound, and transvaginal ultrasound was done. a large cyst/tumor was found..it was not fibroids as he originally thought.
Now, if you are in pain and bleeding after entercourse you need to get yourself checked...that is a sign that something is wrong.
I am certain you have read that 99% of cysts are benign....the odds are definately in your favor, but you do need to find out what is going on.
A cyst has to be removed and sent to pathology to be diagnosed, that means surgery is the only way to go. I would suggest you find a gyn/oncologist and make an appointment. I am very glad that I did. YOU HAVE ONLY ONE CHANCE TO GET IT DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME....see a gyn/onc.
I will llisten for any more questions you have.
Peace.

yes I am due for sergery on The 9th of the month.
I had a us done an a ct and they said it didnt look out of the ordanary nevertheless its a large multi-cystic mass.
I had one 5cm cyst on the left whiuch has since desolved
Scary! but do a normal large cyst cause bleedind during innercorse? How old are you if you dont mind me asking and how did you find out it was oc
I was 55 when I was diagnosed..I was diagnosed when I had an ultrasound and transvaginal ultrasound on a routine visit to a gyn. The pressure I felt on my rectum was beginning to be felt on my bladder and I thought I needed a suspesnion of the uterus. The uterus had not slipped..it was the tumor causing the pressure. After the tumor was found I went to see a gyn/onc and had it removed. There are women here with bleeding issues who could answer your questions about cysts bleeding..I know there are other causes of vaginal bleeding besides cancer.
I will continue watching and listening.
Peace
dian
A friend of mine has the bleeding/spotting after intercourse, and she was just diagnosed with HPV (human papilloma virus). Apparently it can do that, and can be passed. The test is the same one they do for STDs. Just a thought...
