Twisted bowel

I just got back from meeting my girlfriend.  She said I could have a twisted bowel--that stress causes that--which heaven knows, I have an abundance of stress in my life.  So I am going to try my best to think positive between now and Wednesday and not drive myself crazy.

I had better get to bed or I'll be a zombie at work tomorrow--thanks again to all of you for listening to me.

I have not been able to have bowel movements on my own for ever.  I now have pain on my left upper side and I can barely move.  They just keep telling me i'm constipated but I already now that.  No one will help me and all they do is give me pain killers.  I don';t take them because they don't help.  Any ideas?

I am worried because I have such a drastic change in my BMs--plus I had enough infection in the rest of my body to create a lot of pain.  I was on 2 separate courses of antibiotics, had blood in my urine, back pain, ovary pain--now that is mostly cleared up, but still have pain in my side around where intestines are and BMs are getting smaller and smaller.

Hi Thuney, why are you thinking colon cancer? I am going for a routine colonoscopy and I am scared too. But, I think I have IBS. What has you so worried?

Honestly, I think that a twisted bowel or a herniated bowel would have shown up on the CT scan.  I am deathly afraid that the only thing that wouldn't have shown up--per my reading on this blankety-blank internet--is cancer in the lining of the colon.

Hi there, I just read today that IBS can make for small BM"s too as the intestines are spasming. Please post and let us know how you are after the colonoscopy. Sending good thoughts your way.

Stress does not twist a bowel....remove that from your list...you gotta find some way to get this garbage out of your head for a little while....do you have favorite fantacy... movie...what makes you laugh....what is so stupid you laugh at it...who do you like to spend time with just because you like them...what can you do alone that reminds you how lucky you are.....where can you go to hear little children laughing...nothing can light up my world more than the laughter of a child....where can you go for that...a local mall with a play center...go somewhere that you can smile...I enjoy malls with art galleries and children's play centers...so much joy...then when I found clock shops...wow!
So many kinds of clocks....even got my in-laws one for Christmas...so much music and history....the one I got them plays Beatle tunes that they don't even recognize...these people live in the cornfields of Iowa....oh well....please stay in touch...continue posting as often as you do...slow down your mind and take care of you....clearly there are many here who care ...
