Recovering with hot flashes and all!

Hi everyone!  This is the first time in six days I have even sat in a chair for this long, but I just wanted to pop in and say hello and I have been thinking of you all.  I haven't really read through all the recent threads, but I have been praying for you all.  Surgery went extremely well...removed uterus (had severe ademyosis (sp) and fibroids, left ovary (pathology back and tumor was BENIGN!  YAHOOOOOO!  :), and bladder suspended (and everything else put back were it should be!).  I cannot believe how emotional I have been, it's worse than having a baby for jimmy sakes!  And why am I having hot flashes the sweats and chills?  I was told my right ovary needs to "kick-in".  Well anyways, I need to go lay down.  God bless you all and I will check in latter this week.  GOd bless this weeks surgery list and to each and everyone of you,   busy

That is so good of you to check in here, I for one was wondering how you were.  That is great great news ... and thankx for the heads up about the emotional part, I won't panic if that happens to me.
Your remaining ovary will start working again, it is probably thinking "What the heck just happened?"!
Sleep, sleep and more sleep

YIPEE!!!!!   Great news.  Now rest and recover.  I am so happy for you.  The other ovary will kick in, don't fear!  Just think of the hot flashes as "power surges".  I got that from another thread!  Godbless!
