Mums CA125 is 31 as of today. GynaeONC is not worried. She said as mum is not having any symptoms the CA125 rising is not something to get worried about as it is still normal. She said the CA125 could be rising due to the infection which was picked up in the CRP test and they are looking into that.
She also said that mums CA125 might rise and then fall, rise and then fall or she said it could be levelling out as its 2 yrs since she was ill.
She said mums cancer wasn't the type which normally returns, but it could still return. She also said that OVCA tends to return within 12 months and she is doing well as its over 2 yrs.
With regards to the lung x ray, the 2 areas which they were not happy about appears to be blood vessels.
They are going to give mum a full CT scan though.
Any thoughts from anyone would be appreciated.
Thanks
