Updated info on confusion...

I was confused about some results i have gotten in past few months I posted earlier in the month. My gyno has decided on doing laproscopic surgery, she gave me medroxyprogesterone starting march 1 said I will bleed March 10, then go back to her 22nd. Is this normal for before this surgery? She also said she will remove what doesnt belong, and anything else she thinks needs to be removed. I just had abdominoplasty in november, I am very nervous. Is that progesterone necessary? Will I be ok after another surgery? I also have had an abscess removed back in May and 2 c- sections in my life, ectopic 10 years ago, a miscarriage in 2003, ugh im worried.

I did not have to take anything prior to my surgery.  I would call the dr. and ask.  Afterall it is your body and you have a right to know.  So many times we get into the dr.s office and forget all of the questions we want to ask.  As they come to mind write it down so when you call you won't forget.  I was a royal pain in the @$$ before my surgery! I hope this helps.  Godbless.

Thank you, I appreciate that, there are many times I sit here crying or frustrated and feel alone. No one seems to understand around me. I have been spotting everyday for months and the other day with the new gyno hse did the routine stir up things and thats when she started with the surgery talk, she said she hates to do it being I had so many surgeries but that its whats best, that she would decide if I needed a bigger surgery after that. Not sure what that means but, i'll see. Im wondering about that medroxyprogesterone pill, why would I have to take that? My thought is maybe to make sure I get my period done before surgery? What do u think?

I am so sorry that you are going through this waiting period.  This is the most frustrating time, when we don't know what is going on.  Perhaps you should get a 2nd opinion, and maybe more answers to your questions.  We are here for you!  You are in my thoughts and prayers.
