A chemo buddy of mine gave me a book written by Richard Bloch and his battle w/ cancer. It was very motivational. The hospital gave her the book and I don't think you can outright buy them. HOWEVER, on the following website, there lists all of the books written by him and it appears you can read the book(s) online.
I totally believe in the power of positive thinking. It may not cure me, but will help me live a happier life.
Once my after surgery fog lifted, reading was a big part of what helped me through chemo. A friend gave me a book , Where is God When it Hurts? by Philip Yancy. It is a great read and I was so comforted by alot of what was in the book. If medical stuff is boring to you then I'd pass on this one, but I loved it. Thanks for the info on Bloch. I'll check it out tomorrow. Marie
And I will check into Yancy's book as well. You can actually read the Bloch books on line, chapter by chapter, and it's a very easy read which I enjoy.
Thanks,
Judy
