Weird pains and dizziness?

Hi I am new here. I have been lurking for a few days. Recently I went to the doctor b/c of a pregnancy scare (all symptoms and odd test results) I ended up finding out that I have numerous ovarian cysts. I have two "small" ones on the exterior of my right cysts and a rather large one inside of my left cysts with two more on the outside of the right cyst. They gave me all the specifics - I remember one is 7 cm and one is 3 cm but the whole converstaion is kind of fuzzy. They took blood when they did the other tests and I figured I had some hormome screw up so I was kind of shocked when surgery was mentioned. They want to do laproscopy to take the cysts off and possibly the left ovary. They said the healthy tissue is intertwined with the "divided cell mass." Yes I know I'm bad on details right now but like I said it was kind of fuzzy.

I had lap done in December.  It was very easy to begin with.  They made me feel really calm.  They gave me valium and I was sooo relaxed.  I went right to sleep.  When I woke up I was pretty shaky and nauseated from the meds they gave.  It took a couple hours to get that under control.  My tummy was bloated for several days but relatively no pain.  The gas really really hurts for the first 24 hours.  I could not stand without the pain shooting through me.  It would be best if you can have a lot of help that first day after.  It has been 4 months and you would not be able to tell anything was done to me.  So it is an easy procedure but there is some discomfort after.  Not a lot but some.  Hope that helps.

I am going to be 29 the week they're looking at doing surgery. What a birthday present! Well hey the cysts/growth are starting to cause some pain and discomfort so I'm actually starting to see it as a good thing. I have a seven year old daughter and I had a c-section with her that had a following infection. Other than that I had some water cysts a few years ago that went away on their own. They gave me the news of cysts/odd growth last wednesday and I asked what the urgency of this was and they said the longest they'd allow me to go was three to four weeks and I was pushing it. My daughter is making her first communion in a week and a half and I kind of have to be up to speed for that. Thanks for listening.

Can anyone tell me more about the laproscopy and recovery. My doctor didn't go into that much detail because she is recommending another doctor to do the surgery and she said she didn't want to speak for the surgeon.
