Post surgery question. sorry not related to ovca

Hi everyone, I was wondering if any of you remember being SO tired that you just can't keep your eyes open?  I have been taking it easy and all, but it just seems that I can't get enough sleep.  When I do sleep, I wake up about every half hour or so, but go right back to sleep.  Also, when I take a shower, it seems to totally zap the energy right out of me.  I find myself feeling queezy and just completely worn out.  I also seem to have a more delicate stomach this time around.  I find myself getting car sick when I ride in my moms car and I have done it a million times without getting sick.  The pain is not too bad, but sitll pretty sore.  Just wondering if any of these symptoms seem familiar to you all.  Love ya, Kasie

Kasie,
I am about 5 weeks post surgery and I am still tired everyday. I also have low iron, but at the stage you are at, I was sleeping everyday still. I don't think I got out of my pj's the first two weeks and I stayed in my bed almost the whole time.  I would read and watch tv and sleep. I still take a nap almost everyday and next week I go back to work, so I will be sleeping there I guess LOL
My surgery turned out to be intestinal,so naturally my stomach took some time to recover, but I am sure it is true of most surgeries.
Take it easy and allow this time for your body to heal and you will be better before you know it!
Hugs,
Colleen
