Thank you so much i feel much better now! It was the gp that told me all that he's sending me to an obgyn soon. Maybe he can help better with the pain and things.
HPV cannot cause ovarian cancer, only cervical and that would not show a cyst on your ovary. I know little about cervical cancer and HPV.
A solid cyst is could be something as simple as scar tissue from a simple cyst that burst, fatty tissue....who knows...just remember that most of the time, over 95% they are benign.
1.2 cms is not large at all...most doctors will not even operate until the cyst is over 5 cms when it can start twisting and causing issues. As for fluid filled cysts, they often resolve on their own. No one can truly detect ovarian cancer without a biopsy, especially with a cyst that is only 1.2 cms.
What doctor did the scan? What kind of doctor is telling you to go within 6 weeks? They will most likely repeat the scans to see if there is any change....and if you are still menstruating, then depending on where you are in your cycle the cysts could disappear.
Hang in there....it probably is not ovarian cancer, Ovarian Cancer is a very rare disease.
Glad that whatever it is you are taking control of your medical needs and getting answers.
Please let us know how everything goes when you see the doctor, and if you have more questions.

Also forgot to mention 6 yrs ago when i was pregnant with my first daughter the Dr said i had hpv, he treated it when i had her. Then sometime later i seen a different Dr he said he didn't see signs of it, that the other Dr was a quack. What if it really was hpv because i know it can cause cancer and what if that's what the cyst and what caused them, any opinions?? Also what
is a solid cyst exactly?
I've got to go see an obgyn in a week the solid csyt is 1.2 cm don't know the sizes of the other ones and he wouldn't give much more information until i seem the obgyn he did say i needed to go within the next 6 wks he preferred sooner than later! ?????
What did the doctor's say? Follow up visits? What is the size of the cysts?
Most cysts, over 95 percent are benign.
Did the doctor's do any other tests?
