enlarged uterous and extreme pain

I went to the Dr Fri for a rash(allergy) well I also was having an odorous discharge.  They did a pelvic and found that my uterous was enlarged and that I was in terrible pain with pressure.  I have been in pain for sometime with intercourse and I also have lower back pain constantly.  I do have endometreosis but have not seen an ob in 5 years.  Silly I know but we all have our demons.  The Dr yesterday through out Fibroids and cancer and all types of things.  I have had cysts in the past as well.  I am having a trnsvag ultrasound next Friday.  Should I just quit worring.  My mom and grandma had to have hysterectomies young but no cancer.  Well, my Granny won't confess why she had to have hers.  I wouldn't mind a hyst. if the pain would stop.  Any help would be very greatly appreciatted.

Yes I do have long and very heavy cycles with large clotts.  Low back pain and I have been haveing episodes of sweating and feeling extremely hot.  I am to young to be going through th change cut I would swear by the stories I am having hot flashes.

The Dr. is treating me for an infection yes, but that is just the reason I was checked.  The culture won't be back fo 7-10 days and I will be at the ultrasound and ob by then.  This was just a general Dr. because I went in for a rash.

Pain has been so severe the last 2 days I am not sure I can make it until Friday. Thanks for your help.

It could be fibroids & fibroids are basically always benign. When I had mine they told me my uterus was enlarged as well & I did always notice an odorous & frequent discharge. When I finally had my hysterectomy the odor did go away. Usually with fibroids thou you have heavy & long periods. I don't know if your having that as well.

Sounds more like an infection. Surprised they didn't do a culture.
