How do you feel right now. If you have ovarian cyst, throwing up and fever are the symptoms that you need be taken care of immediately. You can not wait for a regular appointment with ob/gyn which takes a while.

If it is that bad I would go straight back to the hospital and get re-admitted, just like dustinsmom said. And i would insist on being seen by an ob/gyn. Then since there is a family history of ov ca make him reccommend a gyn/onc to you. Do not put this off and do not let them talk you out of it.

did it say anything about possible reactions on your discharge papers from the hospital? get your self back there, and re admitted, this is not good for you, while you are there request a consult with a gyn/onc, and get this thing removed, that way, it can all be done at once instead of waiting around for an appointment. i do not see how you can wait for an appointment and feeling like you do to boot. pid is not something to mess around with, and with your family history this should have been taken more seriously the first go around. tell them that the meds prescribed are not helping with the pid, and that u are in fact feeling worse. if you can get an appointment within the next couple of days with gyn/onc do that, but if not and u need to get a refferal then just go back to hospital and get it done

Get an appointment with an GYN/Onocologist now, your PID is causing alot of your distress, get a transvaginal ultra sound and a get set up for surgery to remove that cyst.  With a family history of OVCA, do not wait on this, take care of it now.  Good Luck
