Any time you have surgery there is a chance the scar tissue will form. I couldn't believe I had so much in so little time. One C-section in Dec. 2001 and the last was April 2003. The last ob never said anything about having to cut through scar tissue from the first c-section. I had a lap on 4-7-06. My uterus was attached to my stomach with scar tissue. It was neat it looked like a tube attached to my stomach and uterus. That was where some of my pain came from. That pain is different. It was more tearing pain than the stabbing pain. I still have the stabbing pain. Don't know what is causing it.

Have you had any abdominal surgeries? Scar adhesions can be a royal pain.

My gyn told me that some women their ovaries just hurt for no known reason and that in some cases they were removed and the women had no more pain. We'll needless to say I had scar tissue so he thought that was the problem. Left the ovary in and I'm still in pain. Same as you sharp stabbing pain that comes and goes.  I haven't been back for another ultrasound yet. I'm kinda wanting to get some of the bills paid from the 5 prior and then the surgery.

Have you been checked for gastro/digestive issues?  Also could be endometriosis, it doesn't show up on ultrasounds or CT scans.
