what can cause ovarian cancer? can hormone for menopause cause it,? any headache medication? please let me know asap

They have seen a connection in using unopposed estrogen hormones in ladies that have not had a hysterectomy. I think in ladies doing this for 5 plus years. Unfortunately, I did this and was not told better. My Dr. said probably not, but it showed up on her clinic website after she told me that (in the news section.)

for the most part ovarian cancer is idiopathic meaning it has no known cause... some doctors say MAYBE hormones can but they really don't know.. I have no one in my family that ever had cancer, I am 118 pounds don't smoke, had 3 kids nursed my kids and had a tubal ligation which is supposed help but guess what I have ovarian cancer stage IV
