If your new gyn just told you the cyst was gone because she/he couldn't feel it on a pelvic exam, it may still be there. My cysts were not palpable by the gyn during pelvic... only ultasound could confirm they were there. If it wasn't confirmed by ultrasound, make an appointment with your gyn to have a transvaginal ultrasound done. It's usually easier to get in for one because most places have someone that just does the ultrasounds and their schedule is a little less booked since they don't take very long.
Do you still have other symptoms, like pain during sex, bloating, pain or soreness over an ovary area, etc?
Hope this helps, and keep being proactive in your care!

What your boyfriend is feeling is the cervix (neck of the womb) which hangs down into the top of the vagina.
The question is how did the gyn come to the conclusion that you no longer have a cyst. Did you have a manual pelvic examination or an ultrasound?
