hsil and atypical glandular cells on pap .. plz help

I went to dr and had a pap done .. And I have t had one in 12 years .. I know I know .. And I got back hgsil or hsil and atypical glandular cells or agc .. The doctor said she was concerned and skipped the two other tests I was scheduled for and scheduled a keep instead next week .. I've done a bit of reading in these results but what I don't see is a result with both ??

Is this abnormal in its self ?

Thanks

So she skipped the colposcopy? I thought it was the usual next step before proceeding to LEEP. I would think it is possible to have both HSIL and abnormal glandular cells.

Do you know what type of HPV you have? HPV is very common and most types are not serious. The high risk types are more concerning. Types 16 and 18 cause most cases of cervical cancer.

I had an unwarranted hysterectomy and have learned a lot since then. Most importantly, I have learned that we have to do our own research about our diagnoses (or symptoms if no diagnosis yet) and treatment options. We cannot rely solely on doctors to do what is in our best interests. There is a lot of information out there especially on .gov websites about pap smears, cervical screening, cervical dysplasia, cancer.
