could cyst have grown back?

I had a ruptured ovarian cyst almost 4 weeks ago & am still experiencing pain & a lot of discomfort. I feel very weak & am unable to do a lot of things, don't have much energy. around my ovary feels very tense & swollen, the pain has recently increased & I'm wondering if it's possible that it's grown back? I thought it only took a few days to clear, this is really getting to me.
Any suggestions?

Maybe you had more than one cyst.  If you are still experiencing pain, please call your doctor and tell him/her that things have not gotten any better.  If he does not want to help, go for a second opinion.  Kasie

My ovaries apparently looked ok on the scan, he just keeps giving me more pain killers. Shall I get an app. with a gyno? Or ask for another scan? I really don't know much about all this, & nothing's really been explained to me. I just know my body doesn't feel right at all.

Go see a gyn. They are specialists of the female reproductive system and will know much more about what is going on with you then a regular practitioner.

It is possible to have another cyst so soon.  At one point, when I had my ovaries removed, I had over a hundred tiny  cysts and some bigger ones also.  Unfortunately, even after my ovaries were removed, I still get cysts due to ovarian remnant syndrome.  I would go to another doctor, one who is interested in finding out what's wrong and not just giving out pain pills to keep you quiet.  Hope this helps some and I am sending you a big hug (((((((((ANINA))))))))))))).

Please see a gyn/onc.  They are specialists and have seen everything.  Pain should not be an option.  If you are in pain, then something is not right.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.  Godspeed
