suspected ovarian cancer

At what stage must the omentum be removed in the treatment of ovarian cancer - is there flexibility in it s need for removal as it is a large tissue with supportive and other functions

How necessary is the removal of the cervix in hysterectomy for  ovarian cancer?

Thanks for responding from what you have written, stage 111 is when the omentum would be removed - Am I interpreting your comment correctly?
It sounds like the removal of the cervix will happen if ovarian cancer is  diagnosed

Stage III, I believe.  The cervix is removed if you have ever had dysplasia or in the  fact they know it is ovarian cancer because microscopic cells may pass thru that area too.  Have you been staged?
