I think that muscle strain is a big culprit when it comes to post operative pain, and I think it 'kicks in' after the inflamation and swelling subsides. Mine seems to be where the removal of the tumour took place. I'm not going to worry about it as it does seem to be getting better very gradually and if I focus too much on it the pain gets worse!
All the best to you.
I am having that same sort of dulling pain. I had an ovarian cyst removed 2 weeks ago tomorrow and this weekend i started to feel a dull discomfort. The cyst was attached to my right ovary, so consequently it had to be removed along with the right fallopian tube.
As always, check with your doctor, but I did have pain where my ovary was removed for months after. My Dr. said that a "pulling sensation" was completely normal. As with you, I felt it mostly at night. It wasn't real bad, but enough to get my attention. Hope it gets better soon.
For six months or more after my laparoscopic procedure to remove a benign endometrioma, I had pain at three of my four incision sites. The pain was not merely at the skin/surface, but rather deep into my abdominal area (through the muscle tissues). This pain continues to this day at the scar from the largest incision, and it has nearly been two years since my surgery.
As long as you are not running a fever, which would indicate an infection for which you need to contact your doctor, then it is likely part of the healing process.
