update

hi to all. i am out of surgery. i went in at 5:30a. m to the hospital and my surgery was at 7:30am. for some reason, it seemed liek they are just talking to me when i passed out. i didnt even know thats when they are putting me to sleep . before that i asked for a shot that will keep my from being nervouse. it helped. it made me sleepy too. after surgery , when i woke up, i just kept slippin in and out of sleep. and i ended up being in the recovery room from 8 am to almost 1pm. i was too nautious and dizzy to go to home. i finally peed and i got better and had my sister take me home. the ride home was only 5 minutes long but felt like a lifetime. i wanted to scream. i got home and slept for thirty minutes and up for thirty minutes until now that its 10pm. i am not sleepy now . but this is my thirty minutes awake. they ended up not taking out my whole ovary, thank God. at 3pm today, one of the three bandaids was bleeding so i went to the doctors office and she said that the stiches was kind of loose or something. she bandaided again. and i am fine now. the worse part is my sore throat. thank you all for your support and help throughout this journey with me. i will be here to listen to you all now with a more of a clear mind and be any help that i can to your needs. i love you all with all of my heart for being such carying individuals when you do have to. thank you again.
vista is my real name.

Yaaaaaay!  Good for you Vista! (I love that name BTW) You sound pretty darn good, considering!

(I do so love reading the posts right after surgery, we all practically slurr our words!  LOL!!!!  Almost makes me miss those Percocets!!!)

SO glad to hear they even left some ovary, that is great news!!!

Now you get lots and lots of rest, you have internal healing to do, and this is a crucial time to NOT overdo it!  Even though you look good on the outside!

Love, Katie

I am sorry you are dizzy, it is probably the after effects of the anesthetic and should be gone in a few days.  Take it easy when you stand up, etc.

I had a minor procedure done years ago, and was under for only about 30 minutes, but I woke up with terrible dizziness.  It didn't finally stop for several weeks.  My doctor told me that sometimes anesthetic can disturb the inner ear (which affects balance.)
There are drugs they can prescribe which help somewhat.

Get lots of REST!!!
