My husband swore by omeprozol(?) that he had to take 2x a day-perscription strength. his acid used to be so bad, that I'd wake him up at night, when I knew it was bothering. And sometimes acid would be comming out of his nose, and he'd puke. For a year, we had to become a dairy free family, because my son is severly allergic. Coincidently my husband no longer has issues and no longer takes his pills.(We used to have to remember to bring them wherever we went he was so dependent) He occasoinally has to take them, when he has dairy at a restaurant or a friends house, when he does have dairy, and it triggers the acid. It might be worth a try. We do read ALL ingredients, though. Make sure it's totally dairy free, at home.
She may have acid reflux issues. My daughter has been dealing with that since she was about 6 years old. She randomly wakes up sick in the morning throws up a few times and then is fine. We spent a lot of time trying to figure out if it was a certain food item, but it's not. We try to control the symptoms by taking Zantac 75 before dinner (per doctor recommendation), and not eating for several hours before bedtime, this has helped quite a bit, although she still gets flair ups from time to time. They also told her to sleep in a more upright position, but she can't sleep like that. I am worried about her starting highschool next year as these episodes cause her to miss school in the mornings.
Does she remember throwing up?
Is it any specific day she is going out somewhere , what happens in that day is it any differant frome the others?
