I 'll sell you a mouthy 17 year old spiky haired boy for 50 cents. ......... I was about to list his other traits, but thought better of it. I'd have to pay you.     ; )

LOL!  Yeah, then she PMS's (then sends me a text apologizing for it lol)

by jenstam, Nov 12, 2007 10:23AM
I'll add a 14 year old to your bid for $9.99. Like yours, she cooks, cleans, has WICKED PMS, comes with lots and lots of drama and slams doors well.

Ha, ha! I'll throw in a 15 year old who babysits! She's real good with little kids, not so good with authority figures! Typical teenage girl! A little on the mouthy side, moody especially during that time of the month, usually responds with one or two words but has the phone glued to her ear most of the day and/or night!
Oh, and she does her own laundry. (I guess I shoud mention, she'll take our laundry out of the wash so that she can do her own, lol! Drives me crazy!)

Yep, it's for parents that have teenagers. Parenting teens not teen parenting. I'm sure MH will have a site for that one soon, if they don't already. They have oodles!

LOL you guys are funny!  I was probably the worst teen ever for a few years (although I was a straight A student, didn't do drugs or anything) just hated my parents! fought like cats and dogs etc I felt like they never understood me.  And now at 24 my parents are my best friends!  Stick with it it will eventually pass! :D

at least your teen cleans! my 16 year old does'nt do anything! occasionally he'll do something if i threaten to take the phone away! i'm having a terrible time getting him to go to school, he finds an excuse everyday! its too cold or he has a pimple and he simply wont go! i take away the phone and computer privledges but the fact still remains that he's missing too much school and is failing! what can i do? please help!

can I add my 21 year old step twins or is it too late for them????

I think everyone was just kidding.

Surely you know how rocky those teen years can be? How the emotions can be so up and down. Even the best teenager in the world can get in those moods. My oldest son was pretty good but there were a few years there where he was really testing us. My daughter even more so. She's more strong willed though than my son, so she would fight us on everything. The older they get, the better, I've discovered. My oldest is now in college and a great kid. My daughter still fights us on some things but has simmered down some now too. Each kid is different but they all usually test and challenge us at some point in their teen years. If yours hasn't yet, she will.

Best wishes.
