stomach pain and throw ups

My child is 4 years old,  she is throwing up when she drinks milk and eat solid, she says her stomach is paining and throws up. I went to doctor he says its common in this age. but i am worried
Can u please suggest me what to do?

Hi, how long as she been like this? As she had a recent stomach bug? The reason i ask is because if she as then it might have upset her normal bacteria in her stomach which makes them have lactose intolerance. It could also be reflux, hernia, and the doctor is rubbish see another one it isn't common in this age at all, my daughter as 2 hernias i saw a doctor when she was having pain with one of them and all i got off her was it is too little to cause pain, what would she know the useless cow....Sorry it makes me mad, they assume that kids make half of it up. I saw another doctor who referred her to a gastro and she is due to have a minor op soon just waiting for appt. Go see another doc if she persists in pain and sickness and you are getting no joy take a trip to a&e you will see a pead there. Good luck let me know the outcome. Sharon x

sounds like lactose intolerance.  Have you had her checked for that?
