9 year old daughter - sleeping

I am a single mom of a nine year old daughter who wont sleep in her own bed.  She sleep with me.  Obviously i am not in a realtionship at this time. I wondered what would be a funa nd appropriate  way to get her to sleep in her own bed.  She is scared and wont even sleep in her bunkbed when having a sleepover.  She has not ever slept at anyone elses house if it it not grandmas, who she sleeps with as well.

I , too am a single parent and my 8 year old son still sleeps with me. I've just recently fixed up what used to be our laundry/ ironing/ spare  room as he is getting older and think he should start sleeping on his own but he wont go there. Last night, he woke me up from the sitting room and asked me to come to bed as he was scared...in my bedroom..of course...I think I will try margypops suggestion.

Tell her that she is going to start sleeping in her own bed, take her into her room read her some stroies ,then leave the room, if she doesnt like it and yells thats okay if she comes out of her room send her back, do not let her into your bed, once you do you are enabling the issue, its your bed you are in contorl of her sleeping there. Be firm and quiet..or let her sleep with you some families do sleep together, its your choice ,it is in your hands to change it .
