Is Hoarseness a symptom?

by kitchenlady44, Nov 05, 2009 07:08PM
I have had occational hoarseness for a period of a few years.  I was told that it was due to cervical cord spine surgery which I had twice, 20 yrs and 1 yr ago (C-5-6 and C 6-7).  But it is now constant with no pain.  It is just so hard to get enough power from my diaphram to get the words out and when I do talk for very long I get very tiredl  I live alone and don't talk much during the day so I don't believe it comes from overuse.  I have also been diagnosed several yrs ago with fibroyalgia with muscle pain and weekness.
Do you think that there might be connection and I should have these symptoms investigated by a neurologist?  Kitchenlady44
