Thank you madam. I went to the pediotric , she said that this is nothingelse otherthan the growth of breastbuds. No treatment required. As she says she will get her periods by next 2 years & that will stop her growth. Is it so? now her hight is 135cms .how much hight can I expect? My hight is 5.1ft&my husbends hight is 5.10ft. As you now she is 8 years old ,if she get her periods at her 10,is it not early? Does it affect her in any other ways? Iam really worring about this. please , if it is possible, inform in detail.
Please keep the answers and questions in the same window so we can refer back-my memory is not the greatest!
She is a perfect weight and height both around the 50th percentile, so not overweight or having rapid growth or short stature. So NOT the gynecologist, this is an endocrine issue that first should start with the pediatrician, simple thing to do with no ouch is an xray called the bone age, if it is normal and not advanced waiting may be just fine and if anything more develops then referral can be made at that time.
thanks
this needs no treatment other than having her wear normal clothing that is appropriate, tenderness can improve.
Do the breast buds painful? How long the pain resist? remaining all the things are normal.do the pain go on its own?
growth charts are available at nih website
http://www.cdc.gov/growthcharts/
these are grouped into boys and girls and up to age 2 and beyond age 2, hope this helps.

Stay close with your pediatrician, have her checked about every 6 months or so to see if her growth stays perfect. She is at the 50th percentile, her breast buds are earlier in the normal range, I would see about asking your doctor to get a bone age xray of her left wrist, this tells the age of her bones and gives us a better prediction of her height potential and if it is advanced this is concern for compromised height. however, your doctor's impression is reassuring to me.
