Getting eyelid surgery - nervous here!

I have scheduled lower lid surgery and am a little (a lot) nervous. Has anyone had this surgery? This will be my first time for an elective surgery. I am 50 with bagging eyes...
Just want to improve my looks and not look so tired all the time.
Please let me know your experiences.

well, do it on a thurs or fri and try to take a long weekend if you can.  i know a woman who's bruises cleared up in less than a week, mine took two.. everyone is different.

but i can tell you if you have a good surgeon you will not regret this in the least!!!  best thing i ever did... :-)
