Hi Mutz, Tummy tuck surgery is a great method to reshape the belly. My sister has had a tummy tuck when she was at her 40s and it worked well for her. She underwent it in a clinic in Toronto. Dr. Robert Backstein was her surgeon. She too is a mother but she didn't have any issues with that. She was asked to have some medications and exercises to maintain the results of the surgery and she is alright now. She is pretty much happy with the results!

It's good if you want to have a tummy tuck but as Bhupinder said, you need to consult a surgeon in the first place to determine whether you are a good candidate for the surgery. Also make sure that the surgeon you hire is a board certified one.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
There are many side effects of the tummy tuck and these include scarring, pain, numbness, bruising, infection, bleeding under the skin flap or blood clots that could travel to your lung and interfere with your breathing. Hence discuss the rpos and cons with a good plastic surgeon and then get it done.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
