Hi there,

Yes  I have tried Ultrashape and it has worked for me.  Of course I watch what I eat, but I have lost 2 full inches off my waist  after just 1 visit.  I am so happy with my results that I created a blog.  You can view before and after pics at

http://hadultrashape.blogspot.com/

There is a short 3 min video as to the HOW it works painlessly and over time.  I hope Ultrashape adds more before and after pictures to their website one day soon.

I think this will replace lipo for many people.  Why get surgery when you don't need it?
It is not yet FDA approved,  so I went to the one doctor in TJ Mexico and I like their staff there,  great people.

Good luck,
Teresa

I wonder if it can also be used to get rid of a double chin.
It's the only place on my body where I have to much fat. I'm 5'6 and weigh 132 lb and I excercise daily but I just can't get rid of it and a regular liposuction is just way to expensive.

Having followed the UltraShape treatment for some years I am able to address some of the concerns in the previous postings:

UltraShape does destroy the fat cells membrane and the fat is released. This does not pose any danger to the patient for several reasons. The amounts of fat released does not constitute more than what would be released after a large traditional Christmas dinner. Furthermore there are several medical treatment that release large volumes of fats into the circulatory system such as SmartLipo (Assisted liposuction without suction, fat is left in the body emulsified) and the so-called Brazilian butt lift without any adverse effects related to the fats (triglycerides) released.

Fats are released predominantly in the lymphatic system (a

Well from what I read on the site they said it works better if you exercise for the 2 weeks after the treatment and continue to to keep it off. So based on what u said, about the fat going into the blood, if you then exercised would it work? (Im not about to have this Im no way near that amount of money to waste) They also do tell you it can go elsewhere which u confirmed.

I know theres no miracle cure, its all down to a healthy diet. What are ur opinions on lypo then? I would of thought that would be good as it removes the fat cells? Do you know of a natural way to actually remove the cells?

Also Ive read u cannot target burn fat u have to generally exercise and it will use the fat from all around, so eg if I exercised my legs (my biggest annoyance along with tummy) and built the muscles there it could just use the fat from my face?

Sorry one last thing since u seem to know a bit about this, is there a way to get fit and exercise without loosing the fat in my boobs? I went thru a little phase of not eating etc and lost a lot went from 10 stone to 8 stone that way so I lost alot of my breast fat and its never been the same (not that I was that big)

Thanks for any advice

How wildly I wish that "breaking up the fat" would work like breaking up a clog in the plumbing so the gunk could be washed down the drain. But consider for a moment (P.S. I'm a physiology teacher, for what it's worth).  A fat cell is like a purse full of fat.  You put in more fat in a semi-liquid form whenever you eat more calories than you use up. You take fat out whenever you use more energy than the amount of blood sugar you have floating around in your blood stream from your last meal. The fat cell gets bigger or smaller, but it never goes away.

When they say "break" fat up, what do they mean?  Are they planning on ripping up the purses so the fat all washes into the blood stream at one time?  And if they could actually DO that, which I doubt, what would happen to your body?  All that fat floating around in the blood -- where is it going to go?  Well, you cannot urinate it out.  And you cannot deficate it out, because the intestinal wall is a one-way door.  So all that released fat would either poison you (likely) or else it would find some other fat-purse to live in, and move in there.  So IF "breaking up the fat" actually worked, and you didn't die from it, all that fat "broken up" on the belly, would go ahead and move in to your hips or thighs or chin or underarms, or wherever your body is programmed to store fat first.

I grieve to tell you this fact, because I wish with all my plump little heart it were not true, but the ONLY way fat can be removed is by burning it up in muscle cells.  Skin cells don't want it.  Brain cells don't want it.  Bone cells and blood cells don't want it.  Only muscle cells want it.  So you have to use your muscles to burn up fat.  Or else you have to go to a plastic surgeon and have it cut out or sucked out.

Another tragic fact is that every body is programmed to use up fat in it's very own way.  You probably already know that when YOU loose fat, it comes off the face first -  or the bustline, the calves, or wherever, and stays the longest on the tummy, butt or thighs - wherever.  That priority list is programmed into your own personal genes.  MY own genes would rather have me look like a walking skeleton with a 7 month pregnancy before it will touch the tummy fat.  Life's a bummer that way.

Now, let's change the definition of "break up" the fat.  What if they mean their treatment will turn "tough" fat into a thinner, more liquid substance, rather like putting chunks of fruit through a blender.   IF that were possible, and if THAT made any difference, you might jiggle and slosh more, but the fat would still not leave the fat cells.  Making it more liquid would not get it out of the fat cells any easier or quicker.  Only muscle movement can do that.

So, save your money for a plastic surgeon, or buy a sweatsuit and get out on the sidewalk and walk. Maybe you could try electrical shock that would make all your muscles contract spasmodically while you sit and watch telivision.
I HATE THAT!  I WANT A MAGIC CURE!  I WANT TO BE THIN AGAIN, ESPECIALLY WITHOUT DIETING OR EXERCISING.  But it just ain't going to happen to me, and it ain't going to happen to you.  My deepest, most heartfelt sympathy to us both.
