I was on the Depo shot for 4 yrs. I stopped taking it in Feb, cycle started March, and got pregnant in Oct. I was thinking for some odd reason that I still had Depo in my system but I guess not. My little miracle will be here in July. Good luck trying to conceive. :)

I was on depo for 4yrs, when I got off of it I did not get pregnant for 4 more yrs. It was still in my system, my periods was irregular. @ times my period wouldn't come on for a year. I had to go to the doctors to get some type of pill to make my period come on to clean out my system. So I pretty much know how you feel. I felt less of a woman because I felt like I couldn't conceive, I was wondering why me, But I just prayed on it and by my 5year I wounded up pregnant...Healthy baby girl due Feb 1st.... So don't lost hope, he has a plan for you, but it's only on his time and not uh yours. Much luck Hun..

That's not true, but sometimes if you don't seem to regulate, your doc will put you on the pill for 3 months to kick start your cycle. Just remember you CAN get pregnant before you ever see your period. Keep taking your prenatals and care for yourself.

My understanding with the depo. Is however long you are on it that is how long it will take to re regulate and be able to conceive.

Sometimes depo needs extra time to get out of your system and your cycle to re-regulate. Give it a couple months and if you haven't started, check back woth your OB.
