Ttc, high progesterone, bad pms symptoms

Hi, it's funny that I find myself here again. I use to post when I was pregnant with my daughter, 10 years ago.  Well, im back @ age 36 and I am ttc again. My husband and I have tried for 6 months and nothing. I am a big believer in "if it's meant to be, it will be" BUT, my PMS symptoms have been awful for the past year or so. Almost debilitating. I'm starting to suspect high progesterone. I have a daughter and my husband has a daughter so I believed that I was being selfish for wanting another since I technically have 2. So I gave up. But now as I'm researching my terrible pms symptoms, I also read that it can affect your fertility.  So, what type of Doctor do I see? I don't need referrals. My gp said she doesn't test for hormones. I've all but given up but since my PMS is so bad, I've started to put 2 & 2 together. Where do I start?
