is it true that you can get an ultrasound as early as 14 weeks to find out what you're having? i know the most accurate dates are at 20 weeks but a friend told me i could get it at 14 weeks...has anyone ever found out that early?
It wouldn't be anywhere near as accurate as a 20 week scan. Everything is still really tiny yet. At my 18 weeks scan they couldn't quiet tell yet. So I have another one at 20 weeks. I'm not sure about a 3d scan because I haven't had one. I would suggest waiting at the least two more weeks (16weeks). My sister had hers done around 15 weeks and they said it was a girl and it turns out it was a boy.
I believe its possible with an intelligent technician, and a cooperative baby who is developing early. Also you could guess and be right, it 50/50. I got a 3d ultrasound at 15 weeks.. They were wrong. Said it was boy and she is a girl. Shes two now.
