2 morning positives, afternoon negative

Question

Friday I got a very faint positive on the first response pregnancy test within 4 minutes. Retested again yesterday (sunday) and got a less but still faint positive within 3 minutes. I did both with first morning urine. Today (monday) I went to the obgyn and their pregnancy test came back negative. Am I crazy? Or does it have to do with being too early and that they tested late in the afternoon? I've peed a lot today, also. I felt so stupid! I've had the symptoms, they've even seemed to get worse. They drew my blood and I'll know tomorrow, but I need some relief. She also said my cervix is nicely closed? I don't know what that means. She said it could be a possibility that I'm pregnant but didn't seem too confident, more like she was trying to make me feel not-so-dumb, which the nurse made me feel stupid. I need answers please! 

BACKGROUND
I miscarried with a chemical pregnancy on November 18th and my levels reached zero 5 weeks ago today on the 22. My cycle is usually 30 days apart, but instead of ovulating on the 7th I had a lot of egg-white type discharge on the 15th. So I could either be 5 or 4 weeks, if I even am.

Negative on the home pregnancy test this morning and began spotting. No need to hear the doctor's results. Looks like another chemical pregnancy.

it was a pink dye test, and the doc did a blood test, i just dont know if it was a qualitive or quantitive. i find out tomorrow what the results are.

Also, was it a blue or pink dye test? if it was blue there is a chance it was a false positive. They're more known for them than a pink one. If you still suspect pregnancy, have a beta blood test done. It will measure the exact amount of hCG.

A chemical pregnancy is where you were pregnant but you miscarry before a heartbeat is found. (they normally happen before the 6 week mark) Often with a chemical a female doesn't know she was actually pregnant. The 'period' she has is just more heavy than normal.

What is a chemicAl pregnancy ?? I have gotten a positive pregnancy as well ...just for My blood results to come out negative . I was crushed. But my best wishes to you :)

Thank you! I feel relieved to hear that there's still a possibility! I was starting to feel really stupid, especially because the doctor and nurse kept saying how accurate their's was but my husband kept telling me he saw the positive also. Hoping I get good results tomorrow. I appreciate the prompt responses! Now I can breathe a bit easier tonight :)

You probably are pregnant, it just depends how much hcg you have in urine and I think doctor test dont detect early in pregnancy. Blood test will show answer though. You cant get a false positive because the pregnancy hormone has to be in body for a pregnancy test to come up positive.

hi there,

It is possible as it was a afternoon sample that youve peed alot therefore diluted the hormone thats why the preg testing companys advise to test with a first morning sample. 
Also with you only being 4-5 week the hormone is only very low so a blood test is better.

Also i dont know how true this is but i have heard you can get a false negative but not a false positive! ( i may be corrected on that)
